I would rather change jobs every few years because I feel like I will get bored of one job. I enjoy change and meeting new people. Each time when I get a new job, I believe I will be able to be a better person. If I know I will get a new job every few years and the current job is bad, I will have hope that things will improve within the next few years. Whereas, if I have only one job for the rest of my life and I dislike it, I will be very miserable for the rest of my life.

I guess it depends what job I have. If I had a job I really really liked, I would want to do it for the rest of my life. However, if it was a job I didn’t like, I would want to change jobs. But thinking that I have the power of choosing my own profession, I trust myself enough to put myself in a career option where I could stay in for the rest of my life. I also think that it can help me because without a doubt, there will be days that I will be frustrated or even thinking of quitting. I think it will teach me to handle adversity instead of constantly changing jobs once adversity strikes.

I would rather have one job for the rest of my life because I feel that even if you do not like that job at first, you have a lot of time to strengthen relationships and try to enjoy the job more. You can also go up the totem pole and get paid more. If you switch out every few years, you have to build new relationships and have a harder time getting promoted.

I think I would rather keep on job for the rest of my life. I feel if I changed jobs every few years I wouldn’t be able to really get to know any co-workers and would end up not really socializing with many people. I also think that it’s sometimes hard to be the new guy in any environment and having to constantly changes jobs means having to become the new guy again every few years. Although I feel that sticking to that one job that you hate might be miserable, I think being able to make strong connections wit other coworkers would help balance that out and eventually make a place where you’re comfortable and can get into a good workflow with good day-to-day habits.

I would want to keep one main job where I could be doing the same thing I love everyday, however I would hope that this job has many new opportunities. I would like to meet new people and visit new places without having to necessarily change my job. Perhaps a job that entailed some travel here or there would be nice.
